I always thought that to be a phrase rather demeaning. What is the meaning? The connection it has.Rather the distance it creates. Borders unfortunatley are more enforced than building unity. North America, land of the free. Free for some at the cost of another. The people who have aspirations but happen too be too far South to have any standing as a human being. I guess the phrase alien helps to excuse and even justify the reasons why we turn people away. The reason why some people find their potentials to have them taken away. But they still fight any way. On CNN Bill Dobbs is an activist of sorts against  illegal immigration. Mostly referring to lack of jobs for Americans and overpopulation. Overpopulation? So there is NO way to make room for someone in need but we can expand a CEOs estate so he has that tennis court in his backyard. There are these standards and qualifications for the work force. If a job is a job why are there so many people refusing to do perfectly legitiment work. Those illegal aliens. Hard workers.Care providers. Those people. Some of them my friends. We project the image of the American Dream and unity when we don't even welcome our brothers just slightly south but international affairs is top priority. A whole is left gaping in the common sense method of this reach,or are people just so willing to turn blind to something that is not their concern. Schools here don't even have proper resources for rights to fight for something so attainable. Instead, the primarily show you all the right things to do to go back to where you came from. After being roobbed of their own nation's pride, mean it seems the US has a habit of 'helping' only when we can get a percentage.
